Sinies Corfu ( Korfu ) Greece

Hidden amongst the rocks on the slopes of Mount Pantokrator, 30 km north of Corfu town is the old deserted village of Sinies, which was abandoned in the beginning of 20th and its inhabitants created new settlements including the new village of Sinies.

It is located on the north-east coast of Corfu and surrounded by olive groves and forests, the beautiful town of Sinies offers fabulous picture postcard views.

Retaining a traditional atmosphere, it has an earthly charm that means daytimes are slow. You will discover a working olive press, a bakery, mini-market and a couple of traditional Greek coffee shops.
